This article covers new feature updates, fixes, and refinements to Fieldmagic. 


Please pay special attention to the **Important Releases below. 


Desktop Fixes and Updates


  • FC-2603 – Fixed removing the Demo Data via the Notifications to remove only the data classified as Demo Data.
  • FC-2649 - When updating a record using the import wizard, if there are columns not present in the import template, it will no longer update the values to blank. 
  • FC-2803 – Fixed "Link Files to Job Record" being disabled after clicking it without checking the checkboxes.
  • FC-2847 – Fixed issue with the list view advance filters multi-select option to now display all selected results. 
  • FC-2910 – Fixed Tax Rounding Calculation to be consistent across quotes and work orders. 
  • FC-1321 - Add a "URL" Field Type in the Studio. 
  • **FC-2497 – Added the ability to Delete and Edit Email Templates in the Admin area:



  • FC-2549 – Fixed Tab Naming to always show the detail of the module being viewed as below: 


  • FC-2633 – The department field in the work order line item is now a required field.
  • FC-2654 – Asset Account Code is now not required in Step 5 when setting up an accounting system in the FM Cloud.
  • FC-2668 - When your newly connected Accounting system does not have any products/items yet, our integration now allows the process to continue and create a default item (Labor) in FM.
  • FC-2709 – Fixed Date Follow-up not setting the correct time after import, when using an ATOM Format in the Opportunity Import Template.
  • FC-2770 – SWMS Improvements:
    • Risk Templates: removed the Person Responsible field
    • Added a config for SWMS, which will auto-populate the fields when an SWMS is created:

  • **FC-2801 – Added the ability to see existing user invitations and resend those invitations.



  • FC-2857 – Creating a company and selecting the desired currency now reflects in the default currency value on the configure system settings.
  • FC-2936 - Document Builder: Added "GPS Link Location" and "DateTime" in the image doc builder similar to Checklist PDF Images.
  • **FC-1828 –Module List View does not lose pagination location anymore and keeps your last page

  • FC-2230 – Admin users can now set a default value of the dropdowns in the configure dropdown in settings.
  • FC-2667 – Added back the "Sales Account Code id", "Sales Tax Code id", "Purchase Account Code id" and "Purchase Tax Code id" on the item import template to allow Admin users to import and link to the correct codes. 
  • FC-2819 – Added Rand (R) currency to Fieldmagic Cloud. This now applies to modules that have an amount including Quote, Items, Invoices, PO etc. 
  • **FC-2838 - The “On Hold” field is now part of the default layout for the Customers module. This allows you to view customers no longer being serviced:


  • **FC-2843 – Added phone numbers in the Global Search to search for records that have the phone number fields.


  • **FC-2850 - Added "Assigned Technician" display in the Task List View (For each task) of the Job Record.



  • FC-2852- Change the way we preview pdf in Files widget (Instead of iframe, use pdf library).
  • FC-2864 - Added "Message" filter in the "Filter by Activities".
  • FC-2890 - Rename the Job filter of "Open Inspection Jobs With Failures" to "Open Jobs With Failures"
  • FC-2547 – Same contacts for both sites and customer is now displayed as 1 contact in the Job Contact Widget.


Mobile Updates


  • FC-2464 – Modified Nearby task flow to sort and show the nearest tasks first when the mobile location is on.
  • FC-2665 – Added the Card Outline back in the Mobile app Asset List.
  • FC-2879 – Fixed saving of site field entries in job checklist not reflecting in desktop and also fixed the error message displaying when saving a job checklist with field entries.
  • FC-2882 – Fixed time entries issues when saving a time entry without setting the travel and job billing categories. The error message is changed to a warning message to let the user know that it’s required to set the travel and job billing categories
  • FC-2911 – Fixed issue with job quick search when using a mobile browser layout screen.
  • FC-2645 – Fixed today’s task does not displaying all tasks if the user has exactly 10 tasks scheduled for the day.
  • FC-2467 - Optimize Task now supports tasks up to 500 KM away radius to be able to optimize a route for the day on mobile. 

 

PDF Updates


  • FC-2929 – Fixed incorrect date fields saved when completed is before "8 AM" of the Job/Asset Checklist PDF and Asset Report PDF.
  • FC-2542 – Asset Checklist Reports and Asset Report PDF (Sites) Enhancement
    • Added a display of "Period" used in the asset checklist, and put it in the Table Header.
    • Removed the "Level" column and selection in the Asset checklist report (Compact View), Asset Report (Sites), and Asset Report Selection since is no longer used.
    • Added Asset Group in the Asset checklist Report (Compact View Column) , Asset Report (Sites) and Asset Report Selection.
  • FC-2609 – Added “Product” column for customer invoices PDF (any billing type).
  • FC-2613 - Quote PDF Changes: "Show Detail" format should include the Quantity in the display row (Qty.)
  • FC-2867 –Fixed the colour change in PDF now applying to SWMS PDF.
